The Newmarket School of Fine Art is committed to providing the best possible instruction to artists of all ages and talents in a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Established in 1992, the school continues to draw students from all over the GTA to participate in its exciting variety of drawing, painting and sculpture classes.

In recent years, numerous awards and the sale of his original works of art has caused Martin to become increasingly recognized on the national and international stage for the quality of his oil and watercolour painting.

Reflecting his love of touring and the beautiful countryside and architecture of place such as the South of France, Martin recently co-founded the Plein Air Landscape Painters of Canada--a society of artists who believe in the importance of painting on location. Martin occasionally leads a small group of his students on such expeditions.

Rita's passion for the Art School is matched only by her enthusiasm for helping her students realize their full potential and grow in their appreciation of art. In addition to managing the School, Rita lends her talent to the custom framing service, helping customers conserve and perfectly display art and special memorabilia.
