Drawing

This intermediate course is focused on advanced techniques in drawing and tonal study. Working primarily from still life settings, students will develop a clear understanding of tone and value to improve their abilities in painting and drawing.

As in the Adult Drawing and Mixed Media course, students will cover some of the basic techniques in drawing and will be taught how to see an object and render it in a structural drawing.

Using mediums like pencil, charcoal, pen and ink with washes and scratchboard, students will have the opportunity to explore value and contrast in detail.
