Adult Oil Painting
For beginners, this course will allow them to become
familiar with the tools and mediums used in oil painting.
Students will be guided through the process of selecting a
photograph and turning it into a painting. Composition,
layout, and blocking in colour are taught and proper brush
stroke technique is demonstrated.
Intermediate students will continue to build on the
fundamental skills of oil painting and will begin to
experiment with new techniques. They work independently on a
subject of their choice under the supervision of an
instructor ready to provide assistance as requested.
