Teen Drawing, Painting & Sculpture

For students 13 - 16 years of age, Level 1 has been designed as an introduction to art fundamentals in both two and three-dimensional forms. A prime objective of the program is to develop the artist's skill of observation and the understanding of form in space with the use of light and colour. An introduction to a variety of subject matter from the classical and contemporary will be demonstrated.

Teen Level 2 continues on the foundation of Level 1, building on skills learned and practiced. This combination teen/adult class places a strong focus on sketching and drawing technique.

Older teens will get to experiment with mixed media and be able to take more time in using mediums to develop advanced skills and more difficult projects.

Techniques and approaches are adapted from the Ontario College of Art and Design.
