Summer Camp 2008
The Newmarket School of Fine Art runs popular summer
programs in the months of July and August for both Children
and Adults. The camps offer students a chance to advance
their skills and appreciation of art during a fun-filled
week of learning and new experiences.
Children's Camps
Designed for children aged six and up, these full-day
programs run on a weekly basis from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Children are exposed to a variety of projects that
include various crafts. Watercolours, acrylics, sculpture,
paper mâché, mosaics, cartooning, pen and ink, puppet
making, and wire sculpture are among the wide variety of
activities that will be explored.
All supplies are included in the price of the weekly
program. Children must bring their own lunch.
Daily after care can be arranged following the conclusion
of the day's program.*

Adult Camps
Adult camps are a week in length and run from
9:00 am to 4:00 pm on a daily basis.
Adults get a wonderful opportunity to spend a full day
with a professional artist learning that artist's specialty
The week might begin with the student spend the full day
painting and learning the art of watercolours. The next day
will be spent with a sculptor learning how to work and
produce a piece a sculpture.
Every day is a new day full of great fun and a new art
experience.
